HMS Venturer was a World War II British V class submarine that sank two German U-boats and five merchant ships during the war. Venturer achieved one of the most extraordinary victories in World War II naval history, when it torpedoed and sank the German U-boat U-864 in 1945. This was the first time in the history of naval warfare where one submarine intentionally sank another while both were submerged.<\/p>
This Help for Heroes Sweatshirt celebrates this iconic submarine. Made from 100% certified organic brushed back cotton. Printed in the UK.<\/p>
